I hope everyone is enjoying the Summer (!).
It was great to see so many members, past and present, at the lake on 17th May, pics are up on the facebook page.
Pool Update
As many of you know West Wickham pool will be closed for at least 18 months for refurbishment. It will therefore be sometime (maybe somewhere around Christmas next year) before we know anymore about how and when we might be able to return.
Fortunately Sevenoaks Leisure Centre have been able to accommodate us at a sustainable price in our usual Monday evening time slot. This is great news and means that Sevenoaks Leisure Centre will become our pool night home while West Wickham is refurbished. Thanks to all those (led ably by Graham and a horse box – the horses were fine, they were in the field..) who helped get all our kit out of WW last week. We finally have our pool boats and all our equipment back…
If you have not yet been to a pool night at Sevenoaks then do please come along. Also as its Summer hopefully those of you that find Sevenoaks just a little bit too far for a Monday can still join us 5 minutes down the road at Chipstead Lake on a Friday (dates below).
